Due Dilligence of Waste Management Technologies

Extensive technical and commercial reviews are invaluable in assessing the suitability of  waste management technologies.

The reviews we carry out for clients include –

  • a detail site inspection,
  • examination of operating data
  • in depth discussions with  designers, operators and owners.

Unlike many technology reviews, our assessments always assume that the technology is unproven both commercially and technically until it is demonstrated otherwise. Track record at scale over a significant period is a basic prerequisite for technologies said to be ‘proven’. New or emergent technologies are handled differently and with these the perceived risks are outlined.

By asking questions which others fail to ask or have avoided, we  enable clients to  make a better more informed choice  when selecting a suitable technology

Example technologies we  assess includePyrolysis, gasification

  • gasification,
  • pyrolysis,
  • recycling plants,
  • MBT,
  • RDF and SRF production,
  • in-vessel composting facilities
  • EFWs, both small and large scale
